Founded by architect Mohammed Issam Daboussi in 1998 Dar El Meemar, "The House of Construction" started as a construction and restoration materials supply company. In 2005, a new venture emerged with the opening of All Purpose Stone, a subsidiary of Dar El Meemar. This new company would incorporate importing and exporting of natural stones as well as custom design, installation, and all the stages of the finishing process.

All Purpose Stone prides itself on the quality, wide range of color selection, and the texture of each batch of stones selected. Mr. Daboussi hand selects all products personally. Stone have been selected from Turkey, China, Syria, Lebanon, India, and Italy on various occasions for projects. With the completion of our new storage facility, we have a location to house and process greater quantities of products. We also have a showroom with accompanying offices, as well as a factory where our skilled technicians and state of the art machines allow us to custom hand-design, carve, sculpt, and finish stones.
